Square Enix announced the sequel to The World Ends With You earlier this week via a countdown on the game’s website, revealing the upcoming action RPG is slated for release on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in summer 2021. The announcement of the sequel comes 13 years after the release of the original game and after the announcement of an upcoming anime adaptation, slated to air April 2021. It was rumored on draft day Minnesota was trying to move the contract of Andrew Wiggins, and now, it appears the team may be trying to trade Jeff Teague and Robert Covington, as well. Back in September 2012, the NCAA issued an interpretation that a team which was not organized under the auspices of a scholastic governing body was considered a nonscholastic team. This included many postgraduate institutions and prep schools. This fall coaches were told Findlay Prep and Huntington Prep were not scholastic teams. As a result, men’s basketball coaches could not evaluate those teams during most recruiting periods. Attaching the nonscholastic designation to a football team is even more restrictive since FBS football coaches have no nonscholastic recruiting periods like basketball’s certified events....

On Tuesday, the NCAA announced president Mark Emmert will be stepping down from his role either when a new president is selected or until June 30, 2023. Emmert has been the president of the NCAA since April 27, 2010, after previously serving as the president at the University of Washington and chancellor at Louisiana State University. “Throughout my tenure I’ve emphasized the need to focus on the experience and priorities of student-athletes,” Emmert said in the release....
