Nepal Army and Central Region won the women’s and men’s title respectively of the first LUMBINI Nepal National Kabaddi Championship concluded here at Dhangadi, a far-western city of Nepal.
In the women’s final, Nepal Army defeated Nepal Police 5 – 4 to lift the inaugural title while Central Region defeated Far Western Region 14 – 13 to lift the men’s title.
Menuka Rajbanshi was declared the best player in the women’s category while Nawal Rana was declared best player in the men’s category of the championship.
